In October 2020, Outriders released a multimedia comic about grassroots pandemic responses in São Paulo favelas. Brazilian journalist Priscila Pacheco, illustrator Alexandre de Maio, a cross-border team. The format was the argument - safety, dignity, attention - all resolved by drawing instead of embedding.
