I work with publishers, cultural institutions, and media organisations to create special projects — immersive journalism, live experiences, and public work that audiences remember and awards recognise.
Publishers including Wirtualna Polska and The Dallas Morning News, and institutions including the VII Foundation and iMEdD, have commissioned projects with me that went on to win at INMA, the Polish-German Journalism Award, and the European Press Prize shortlist.
I develop special projects from concept to launch — immersive journalism, interactive documentaries, multimedia reports, physical exhibitions, live experiences. Each project is built around a story that deserves more than a conventional format.

A one-day paid diagnostic for publishers who want to know whether they're ready to build a special project — before committing to one. You bring your editorial team. I bring the questions. You leave with a written Project Readiness Report: story assessment, format recommendation, honest capacity gap analysis, three paths forward.
Original research around media branding, audience trust, the future of storytelling, and Artistic Journalism. Available as a commissioned study, a strategic framework, or a presentation tailored to your organisation.
War at 30 kilometres. Ten residents. A story you enter, not simply read.
VIEW PROJECT →Migration at the US–Mexico border. 25 journalists, 6 countries, 8 months.
VIEW PROJECT →
15 journalists, 7 countries, one manufactured crisis.
VIEW PROJECT →Everyone else will. It isn't. But I know exactly where these projects break — and how to get through it anyway.
We figure out if there's actually a project here. Thirty minutes. Hard questions. No commitment.
I tell you exactly how hard this will be — and produce a document you can take to your board, your budget-holder, or your grant committee.
We build it anyway. I coordinate the team and manage delivery. I also support fundraising and co-production partnerships where production costs need external support.
It becomes the thing people remember. Award submissions, industry coverage, documentation. The recognition validates the investment and makes the next project easier to fund.
Jakub is one of these rare people that are called media innovators and they actually are. I had the pleasure to witness much of Jakub's work with Outriders: experimental storytelling, eye opening reporting and top notch UX. Jakub is also an excellent speaker and workshop leader. Ok, enough words. Just hire him.
Jakub has had an excellent collaboration with iMEdD the past few years. In 2024, he participated in iMEdD's International Journalism Forum where he presented a keynote on the importance of immersive storytelling and alternative formats in journalism, especially facing the rise of AI and increasingly recycled content.
It was my first Mixer event but I'm looking forward to participating in more of them. The format seemed to prioritize effectiveness and utility, while also succeeding in creating a welcoming atmosphere for informal conversations.
Publishers who have a story worth more than one article. Institutions that want journalism and art in the same room. Editors who are tired of formats that forget the audience has a body.
If you have a project in mind — or a story that hasn't found its form yet — I'd like to hear about it. Start with a thirty-minute conversation. No pitch, no commitment. Just the brief.
