REAKCJA
POLAND'S FIRST STAGE FOR ARTISTIC JOURNALISM
A Project by Jakub Górnicki · 2026
"The underground of information. The forbidden fruit of contemporary media."
Wirtualne Media, 04.03.2026"I want to invite 8–10 reporters who lived through a story, were on the ground, and clash them live with actors, musicians, and visual artists. The journalist delivers hard information, fact. The artists give it form, and we give people space to react. I want to hack the system and create experiences you can't just walk away from and forget."— Jakub Górnicki, Wirtualne Media, March 2026

Magazine on stage.
Reakcja is a stage for artistic journalism. A hybrid of a newsroom, a modern art gallery, and performance. We don't "exhibit" texts — we design them as multisensory experiences. Each story is a separate article, staged live.
Reporters who were there. Actors, musicians, and visual artists who give facts their form. A raw hall, darkness, and a story you don't just read — you live through it.
No photography. No phones. Limited capacity.
What happens in this space stays only between those present.
TEASER
Why Reakcja?
44% of Poles are fleeing from information
They are overstimulated. Exhausted by noise and clickbait. We don't ask them to read more articles — we offer one deep experience, filtered through art.

The age of AI and deepfakes
In a world where generating an article takes a fraction of a second, trust moves to the physical world. Only what is physical cannot be faked by an algorithm.
The Experience Economy
Generation Z invests in unrepeatable live emotions. We operate by surprise. The number of seats is always strictly limited.
"I'm running toward physicality, because the screen has become a barrier for us. This pushes us toward tangible media."— Jakub Górnicki
Who we speak to
Digital Deserters
They have consciously disconnected from the news. They feel guilty for not knowing what is happening in the world — but traditional media triggers anxiety. Reakcja is the remedy for news avoidance. Reliable information doesn't attack here — it is experienced.
Experience Hunters
They live in urban culture, electronic music, street art, hunting for limited drops and secret events. They will be drawn by the inaccessible format: no phones, raw space, limited tickets. They'll come for the exclusive "forbidden fruit" and leave struck by serious journalism.
The Exhausted Empaths
Activists, NGO workers, citizens of enormous sensitivity. Worn out by constant battles online. Reakcja gives them the right to a nuanced reaction: to tears, anger, or simply silence in a dark hall. Art becomes a buffer — deep reflection without the weight of immediate activism.

How it works
Raw space
Theatres, abandoned halls, warehouses. Places where people don't normally go looking for information.
Reporters and artists on stage
8–10 reporters who lived through the story. Actors, musicians, and visual artists as co-creators of form.
No phones
Strict device deposit. One hundred percent presence. Zero InstaStories. By design.
Limited capacity
Never more than a few dozen people. This is not a mass concert. This is an intervention.
