LOVE
SPEECH
A visual vocabulary for the internet that forgot how to disagree
ENOUGH OF ANTI-HATE CAMPAIGNS. BUILD THE OPPOSITE.
Love Speech began a few days after the murder of Mayor of Gdańsk Paweł Adamowicz in January 2019 — a man targeted by online hate and government-controlled propaganda before being killed at a public charity event.
The idea was simple: instead of fighting what we don't want, create tools for what we do. A ready-made visual vocabulary for respectful disagreement, placed exactly where arguments happen — inside the sticker keyboard, accessible in one tap, on every platform that uses Giphy.
Concept by Jakub Górnicki. PR & execution: Laska. Illustrated by Marta Paradowska.
