infrastructure disruption: Dorohusk and Zosin road border crossings (2026-09-28)

/ date of the event

What happened

On 28 September 2026, Dorohusk and Zosin crossings were evacuated and processing suspended after a drone struck on the Ukrainian side of the border. Border Guard spokesperson Dariusz Sienicki confirmed both evacuations. PAP reported that processing resumed at 17:20. Poland’s Defence Ministry said Polish airspace had not been violated. The entry covers a preventive disruption at two crossings, not a strike on Polish infrastructure. The exact start, duration and number evacuated are undetermined. No verified coordinates are available; the entry has no map point.
