/ date of the event
What happened
On the evening of 31 October 2026, Romanian radar detected two drones entering northeastern Romanian airspace without authorisation. Four F-16s from Câmpia Turzii and Borcea and an IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter were scrambled. Warnings covered Iași, Neamț, Vaslui, Botoșani, Bacău and Suceava counties. One drone left the country; the other was last observed between Vaslui and Bacău. The ministry reported no crash reports. Alerts ended at 19:19. No shoot-down, model or operator was confirmed. One entry covers this episode involving two aircraft; warnings in six counties do not establish six separate incursions. Exact coordinates are undetermined; the entry has no map point.
