What happened
Around noon on 9 October 2026, floating aerial-UAV fragments were observed about 15 miles east of Sinemorets. Minehunter Struma was dispatched; after examination, divers from Dimitar Dobrev recommended destruction in place because of concerns about explosives. The navy confirmed a controlled detonation. The model, number of original devices, origin, earlier flight date and operator remain unknown. Concern about explosives is not a final identification of a payload. This is discovery and disposal of fragments, not interception of a flying drone or a new attack. The statement does not establish jurisdiction; direction and distance do not provide a verified point.
