airport disruption: Lublin and Rzeszów-Jasionka airports, morning restrictions (2026-10-07)

/ date of the event

What happened

On the morning of 7 October 2026, civilian operations were restricted over Lublin and Rzeszów-Jasionka airports during a Russian attack on Ukraine and preventive military aviation activity. Spotted Lublin reports a NOTAM with restrictions scheduled to end at 07:00. The archived NOTAM was not read and the actual start, resumption, duration and number of affected flights remain undetermined. This is one entry for two airports, without a confirmed Polish airspace violation, airport strike or sabotage. It does not include that day’s afternoon suspension: an Operational Command spokesperson told Polish Radio that it resulted from exercises unrelated to the Russian attack. Exact coordinates have not been established; the entry has no map point.
