What happened
On 20 September 2026, Romanian naval forces recovered three drone fragments in Romania's exclusive economic zone. The first was retrieved about 37 nautical miles from Constanța, another at around 17:30 at a distance of 42 miles, and a third around 19:00 at 33 miles. Specialists found no explosive hazard.
