What happened

On 17 September 2026, traffic at Lublin and Rzeszów-Jasionka airports was temporarily suspended and then resumed because of the threat during Russian attacks on Ukraine. Sirens sounded in Rzeszów and some public offices were evacuated. Reporting placed the drone crash about 4 km from the Polish border, on the Ukrainian side; entry into Poland was not confirmed.
