What happened
On 11 September 2026 the Coast Guard reported a suspicious object in the Edighiol-Periboina area on the Chituc spit. At about 17:55 an MApN EOD team spotted from a helicopter the remains of four drones, among them an interceptor drone with explosive material on board; all the items were secured and neutralised. The MApN statement does not say whose the interceptor drone was or where the other aircraft came from; the ministry announced that it remained on heightened alert.

Source discrepancy
Malcontent labels placemark [530] as an "unexploded Ukrainian interceptor drone" and [529] as three separate Coast Guard finds. The MApN statement describes one find of four aircraft, including an interceptor drone, without naming a country. MApN was adopted; one record.
