What happened
On 11 September 2026 at about 13:30 an MApN EOD team assessed two drone fragments washed up on Câșla Vădanei beach, between Sulina and Sfântu Gheorghe, and established that they carried no explosive charge. It was one of four finds the ministry described that day in a single statement on the coast and the Ukrainian border; it gave neither the type nor the origin of the aircraft.
