/ date found, not date of flight
What happened
On the evening of 25 August 2026, at about 22:00, passers-by on the crowded waterfront by the Constanța Casino noticed among the breakwater blocks a white, flat fragment washed up by the waves and taken to be part of a drone. Police and firefighters cordoned off the spot, established there was no explosive charge and pulled the fragment out bare-handed; the border police took it for examination to establish its origin. There were no casualties and no damage. No authority has said what aircraft it came from.
