What happened
A Ukrainian drone was shot down by a Romanian F-16; two Romanian aircraft of the "Carpathian Vipers" squadron, flying the Baltic Air Policing mission, were scrambled by the Combined Air Operations Centre at Uedem. It was the first time during the war that a drone was shot down over Estonia by NATO aircraft. Ukraine's defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov apologised for the incident.
