What happened
On 3 April 2026 at 08:13 the National Army's surveillance systems detected a Shahed-type drone that entered Moldovan airspace from the direction of Bilyaivka in Odesa region and headed towards the village of Tudora in Ștefan Vodă District; at 08:15 it left the country towards Krutoyarivka. The defence ministry gave an altitude of 3,000 m and a speed of 167 km/h. Moldova's foreign ministry called the overflight an unacceptable violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity, contrary to international law, and demanded respect for its airspace. It was the third such overflight within days, after 30 and 31 March. Who operated the drone is not stated in the statements; the Shahed designation comes from the defence ministry.
