What happened

Vilnius airport was closed for 11 hours because of meteorological balloons from Belarus. Deputy Foreign Minister Taurimas Valys called it 'a cynical hybrid attack against our economy, aviation security, and the entire nation'. Belarusian officials subsequently claimed a drone from Lithuania carrying a camera and extremist printed materials had landed near Grodno; Granta Autonomy later confirmed it was a modified Hornet XR, suggesting a Belarusian provocation.
