What happened
Two drones were detected over Romania. The first entered near Chilia Veche around 06:30, was tracked by German Eurofighters and re-entered Ukrainian airspace. Minutes later another drone was detected over Galați County heading west; two Romanian F-16s were scrambled without visual contact. At 08:50 a passer-by filmed the drone over Tecuci after the government issued a RO-Alert warning for Vrancea County. It flew the deepest into Romanian territory since the escalation of the war in February 2022 and, after four hours, crashed in a courtyard in Puiești, Vaslui County.
