On the Warsaw-Lublin line near the village of Mika an explosive charge destroyed a section of rail, with roughly a metre of track missing. The interior minister described the event as an act of sabotage. The damage was found the following morning after a driver reported irregularities on the track. No one was hurt.
Responsibility and limits of the evidence
officially attributed
A court or a competent state body has attributed it. That is not the same as a proven attack: an indictment is an allegation, not a verdict.
Named party: Russian Federation services
B - official attribution by a state body
Prezes Rady Ministrów Donald Tusk / 2025-11-18 / recruiting those who carried it out
On 18 November 2025 the Prime Minister told parliament that the direct perpetrators were two Ukrainian citizens, one from Donbas, "cooperating with the Russian services". The perpetrators' nationality and their cooperation with those services are two separate claims; the statement set out no evidentiary basis.

Source discrepancy
Sources differ on the hour of the detonation and the day of discovery. The interior ministry statement of 17 November refers to "the past weekend"; secondary accounts give the evening of 16 November with discovery on the morning of 17 November. 16 November is recorded as the day of the act.
