/ date of the event
What happened
Four Ukrainian aircraft unintentionally entered Romanian airspace during a Russian attack on northern Ukraine; Romanian radar detected twelve Ukrainian contacts near the border. Two Romanian F-16s and two Italian Typhoons were scrambled. The Ukrainian aircraft briefly crossed near Sighetu Marmației and Vicovu de Sus without posing a threat.
