On 2 July 2025 the court convicted two Moldovan citizens of arson in support of intelligence activity against Estonia. The court found the restaurant arson to be an influence operation ordered by Russian intelligence, the perpetrators having been recruited by the GRU in the summer of 2024. Whether the judgment is final is not established in the source used.
