Tyulenovo: drone debris with a mortar round

What happened

On the evening of 17 September, at 21:40, a resident called 112 about an object on the rocks by the shore near Tyulenovo: a section of an unmanned aircraft with a munition attached. A Navy bomb-disposal team arrived at 06:10 and identified an 82 mm fragmentation-high explosive mortar round, too damaged to be moved; at about 11:00 it was detonated in place inside a 150 m cordon, with no damage to buildings or boats. Defence minister Todor Tagarev said the ministry had only photographs and debris and would try to establish the origin from those; the aircraft most likely fell into the sea and was carried ashore. Neither the type of the drone nor its operator has been established.
